This is a little resin kit I picked up on eBay sometime ago primarily because of the image it evokes. The actual kit is only composed of the torso, head and a pair of arms and stands a bit under five inches tall. It cried out for enhancement and I was happy to oblige.
I had some girder work from a monorail toy (also purchased on eBay AGES ago) that I fashioned into a simple workbench with the addition of some textured sheet I glued to some styrene for the work surface. Brackets and the like were made from 1/2” staples and the base was from another kit, the original source of which escapes me.
I was going to display the robot fully assembled but I decided to have her 'broken down' as it were to add a little more interest to the scene. I inserted some strands of magnet wire into her neck along with an odd bead I had in my scrap box to look like some kind of intricate connector for the head which I staged on the table top. I placed some electronic looking odds and ends on the table top I dug out of my scrap box (NEVER throw anything away!) for a cluttered look. The backdrop is from the “Thing” display (which can be seen elsewhere on the site) that I pressed into service just for the photo shoot.
I think this kit cost me about thirty or forty bucks and was purchased on eBay from some outfit in China. The cast was very clean and if I had a complaint is would be that it took about five months for it to arrive, possibly due to the Corona virus situation. 8/22/20

Great job down to the last detail!
